Reuse and Repurpose

Pots in Pants; Repurposed Garden Containers!

If you have some pants that no longer fit or are perhaps too worn to donate, you can give them new life in your garden!

Fluff up the pant legs with wadded up newspaper and work them into a pair of old boots. Again, worn out is perfect for repurposed garden containers. The boots in this picture look pretty good, but the soles were worn right through. Thrift stores are great places to find clothing or boots for this project as well.

Insert a garden pot into the waist of the pants, prop it all up and plant!

This is a simple and inexpensive project that will bring lots of smiles to passerbys.

The pots in this picture were planted with ornamental annual grass.
